One day as I was browsing the pet ads I found the cutest puppy I had ever seen!! I knew the minute I saw her that she just had to be my baby.
As a second surprise, she has also become my service dog. She's just a great big wonderful dog in a teeny tiny 2lb package!!
Questa is a Brussels Griffon & Chihuahua mix.
Daddy is a 2 pound Chihuahua and her Mommy is a 7 pound Brussels Griffon!! What a strange mix!!
Questa was the smallest of her litter and her breeder would not allow her to fly alone. I got to travel to Arkansas and meet Ginny and pick my Questa up in person. That's her tiny head peeking up behind the others. Thank you so much Ginny for saving my beautiful baby for me!!
Questa was already 8 weeks old when I found the ad for her. These are the first pictures I saw in the ad and they are the ones that stole my heart! It was so hard waiting the other 3 weeks so I could go pick her up!
After the deal was made and I knew Questa was mine, I must have bugged the poor lady to death wanting more and more pictures. I emailed her every day!! I just know she got really tired of hearing from me.
When the day finally came and I got to pick her up, she was even tinier than I had thought! She wasn't much bigger than a flea! We were still measuring her weight in ounces. Well, actually, I'm still measuring her weight in oz! At 9 months of age she's still only 36 oz!
These were taken the first night in our motel room. She just fit right in and was at home from the minute I took her in my arms! She slept with me that first night just as she has every night since!
Questa has grown very little since October when she came here to live. She is still so small that the only clothes I can find to fit her are clothes made for ferrets! They are small enough around that she doesn't walk out of them. Here are a couple of ferret shirts that she has. We're always looking for more colors and different styles of ferret clothes so if you know where to find them, please let us know!
Questa loves to be on the go. No matter where I go, she thinks she needs to go too. Here she is in my purse and that's where she thinks she belongs!
Questa goes with me so often that Jet Blue Airlines gave her a set of wings of her very own!
Questa is getting sleepy. It's way past her bedtime Before her eyes close completely, she wants to say Byeeeeee
